who rejected the authority of Peter Mongus, Bishop of Alexandria, in 482, and
were later absorbed by the Jacobites; (2) those Nestorians rejecting
patriarchal condemnation of Nestorius in 431; (3) priests rejecting episcopal
authority or bishops that of their metropolitans; (4) a group of English
